#13 Quart,  The Marion Jar Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858. Rare #13 jar. Most of the #13s were considered unlucky and broken. The bootleggers didn't want to put moonshine in them. Most of the women canning from the garden didn't want to use them. They were afraid the food would spoil. Half of the top of jar is a little rough with a small chip, probably ground a little. Still a very rare jar. Displays well. Jar lid is an Atlas.
