    Description

    Here are two nicely sun colored purple pint size jars. First one is a "Green/ Mountain/ C.A. Co." with "Tight" on front and backside of jar throat. Has a smooth lip with a clear glass lid that may or may not be original. Likely not, as it hasn't turned color like the jar but fits perfectly. Still has the rubber liner and the wire bail works as intended. Listed in Red Book as #1153 but only  listed as clear. No damage noticed at all. The second jar has a ground lip with several small nibbles out of the top. Embossed "Easy Co. Vacuum Jar/ Trade (fancy monogram) Mark" with base embossed "Pat. July 11th 1893." Red Book #878. It has become time for me to thin out my collection and none of these listed today have ever been on the market before, having been dug by me and in my possession.
