    Description

    This is a circa 1890's embossed medicine bottle. It is embossed ANTI-FAG on one side of the bottle. This was short for ANTI FATIGUE. "In case you are interested, this bottle of Anti-Fag is not a No-Smoking cure. "Fag" was used as a short version or abreviation for Fatigue. So anti-fag was used to give one energy. Call it an early Red Bull. A boost in a little bottle. The bottle is amber in color. It stands 3 & 1/4 inches tall. It was blown in a two piece mold and has an applied upper neck and crude hand tooled lip. It has no chips or cracks.  Please view photos. If you or someone you know collects old medicine bottles then this will make a nice addition to your collector .
