    Description

    Up for sale is a super nice and scarce Sky blue color Antique fruit jar complete with the original zinc metal screw band and glass lid insert.It is embossed all on one side in four separate lines as indicated: ATLAS / MASON / IMPROVED / PAT'D. The glass lid insert is plain and not embossed and is the correct lid made for this jar.This outstanding late 1890's to early 1900's quart size ,4 piece mold, sky blue color glass jar is in original excellent Attic mint condition with absolutely no scratches,cracks,nicks,or dings as well as  no interior clouds or haze.The glass lid insert  and the zinc metal screw band are also in original excellent  mint condition with absolutely no issues. The ground mouth is smooth with no chips or nicks and the glass itself is very clean and shiny free of any imperfections and is loaded with hundreds of tiny seed bubbles. It measures approximately 7 in. in height and 3 5/8 in. width across the diameter of the base.
