Description
A colorful and very crude little early machined smooth lip Mason shoulder seal pint canning jar.Strongly embossed - MASON'S arched over

Base is unmarked.
Made by the Ball Brothers Glass Manufacturing Company , Muncie,Indiana Circa 1900 - 1915.
Molded in a bright Ball blue colored glass. Brilliant clean and clear with no staining from its use.
Beautiful Old glass. Displays a strongly creased and whittled surface. The walls are loaded with
an array of several various size fully intact air bubbles. The jar is out of round from its pinched
side mold seams and kicked up base. Sits fine. Definitely shows a lot of early machining character.
Lightly used and well kept through its years of use. No damage of any kind to note. Very nice.
No cracks,chips,bruising or abrasions. A few small very light scattered scratches and base wear.
Its smooth lip and sealing area of the mouth is about perfect. No chipping or flaking. Very smooth.
A lightly aged clean and damage free older <> GENUINE ZINC CAP <> FOR BALL MASON JARS
porcelain lined Ball stamped lid completes the jar for cover. Threads easily and fully in sealing.
A very nice overall example of this early machined MASON'S PATENT pint fruit jar.
