This 2005 Rubie's Collector's helmet was hand signed, in person, by Dave Prowse on August 5, 2016 at the Las Vegas Toy Con in Las Vegas, Nevada.
I am happy I made the trip to Toy Con in 2016 as it was the last West Coast appearance by Mr. Prowse and one of his FINAL appearances in the United States.  He announced his retirement from traveling only a few months later.  I had Mr. Prowse sign a few helmets and I gave them to my Nephews as Christmas Presents in 2016.  This is an "EXTRA" helmet I had signed.
I planned ahead and had multiple items signed just to make sure everyone in my family, who wanted an autographed Darth Vader helmet, received one.
Mr. Prowse personally autographed this helmet using a bold silver paint pen and wrote:

The helmet was made in 2005 and is formed/stamped on the inside of the helmet "2005 Lucasfilm Ltd." and "Rubie's Costume Company Inc."
The helmet is made out of metal and plastic.  The mouth area is made of metal and the two silver colored pieces near his mouth are also made of metal. There is foam padding inside of the helmet and adjustable straps on the back/inside of the face/helmet piece.
The helmet measures 14" tall, 13.25" wide and 15.5" from the front of the helmet to the back of the helmet.
BRAND NEW condition and is still in its original packaging.
I personally opened the helmet and had it autographed the same day.
I only removed the helmet from its packaging three times.
Once in 2016 to be autographed, once for Beckett Authentication and once this week to photograph it for ebay.
It has been stored out of sunlight in a SMOKE FREE, clean, dry area.
The helmet will come in it's original Rubie's box with original packaging, wrapping.
The Rubies box is large and measures 15" tall, 12.75" wide and 15.75" from the front of the box to the back of the box.
I am not a professional photographer but I have done my best to provide detailed photographs and an accurate representation of this helmet.
The helmet was brand new when I purchased it and it is still in the same, exact condition as it was when I purchased it and unwrapped it 4 years ago.
There is a lot of glare in my photographs from the flash on the shiny black helmet. I have photographed the helmet from all angles so you can see how awesome this piece looks.
