Description
BUSCH 12142 steam locomotive»Decauville« type 3
with headlight H0f
NEW in original packaging!
With a working headlight. Wheel alignment B. Length: 42 mm. New shape.
The prototype comes from the workshop of the French light railroad pioneer Paul Decauville (1846 - 1922), who from 1875 developed his own light rail system consisting of rails, wagons and locomotives. Due to its widespread use and long service life in different epochs, this steam locomotive is universally suitable for many uses such as forest railways, brickworks, tourist trains, trams, in open-cast mining and as an army field train. Today four of these robust locomotives are still in their original form. One of them can be admired operationally in the Frankfurt Feldbahnmuseum (www.feldbahn-ffm.de). The vehicle from the early 20th Century has a service weight of 6.5 tons and an output of 20 hp. The large water tanks, which give the locomotive a considerable range of action, are typical. Many details, such as the construction with an external frame, are perfectly implemented in the model. The filigree connecting rods are even fully movable. New (larger) wagons for a wide variety of transport purposes round off this innovation, whereby the steam locomotive can of course pull all wagons from the Busch light rail range.
