EMBOSSED GLASS JAR LID
1875-1899
Round rose-colored glass lid embossed with “CUTTING PACKING CO. / SAN FRANCISCO” around a beautiful griffin at center.
The Cutting Packing company was active between 1875 and 1899. It packed vegetable, fruit, preserves, pickles.
This glass lid measures 2-1/2 inches in diameter. It has a chip and a small crack on one edge, but that doesn't mar the embossed top.
