Description

This is a New Open Box Hunter SolarSync Evapotranspiration Sensor and Module. Been sitting in the warehouse for a few years (could be 5) but is never installed and ready to go.
For use with Hunter controllers in which the Solar Sync module is required such as Hunter PCC, Pro-C, PC-300, PC-300i Timers (but not the newer PC400 and PC400i).

The Solar Sync Sensor is an advanced weather sensor that calculates evapotranspiration (ET) and adjusts Hunter controllers daily
based upon onsite weather conditions. Solar Sync measures sunlight and temperature, and uses ET to determine the correct seasonal adjustment
percentage value to send to the controller. The controller then uses its programmed run time and adjusts to Solar Sync’s seasonal
adjustment value to modify the actual irrigation run time for that day.
Overview
The Solar Sync sensor integrates Hunter’s popular Rain-Click™ and Freeze-Clik® sensors providing quick response in
shutting down your irrigation system during rain and/or freezing conditions. The Solar Sync is compatible with most Hunter controllers
and applicable to residences, businesses, and municipalities alike. The Solar Sync continually gathers on-site solar and temperature data
used in the calculation of evapotranspiration (ET), then determines watering requirements.
The module automatically calculates water requirements and makes adjustments taking into account your regional weather characteristics.

keep your lawn at peak performance with optimal watering. Air temperature is monitored and used to calculate watering requirements.
Too hot? Solar Sync knows to be efficient and waters your lawn as needed.
Freezing morning? Keep those mittens off, because below 3° C, Solar Sync smartly waits for warmer temperatures.
Now smart, weather-based control is available in every Hunter controller category. X-Core and ACC controllers have the Solar Sync software
built in and do not require the module. Pro-C, PCC, ICC, and I-Core controllers require use of the Solar Sync module. Wireless receiver
can be wall-mounted, or on the side of the controller using an available knockout (not available on some controllers).
