  • Condition: No chips or cracks, other than the normal flakes on the grind. Lightly tumbled to achieve sparkling surfaces inside and out, strong zinc lugged cap is debossed Mason Fruit Jar Philada and milk glass liner reads Mason Fruit Jar Co., Philada, zinc is solid, no holes, cracks or loss, fits well and screws on and off easily, liner has multiple cracks but is holding strong in the lid. This lid may be original to the jar. Quality and condition can be seen in the photos.

    This sale features a sparkling mint, blue aqua, midget, fruit jar, that
    stands 5½ inches tall with the lugged lid on.
    This one is embossed Mason's Patent Nov 30th 1858, with the Keystone embossed on the front and a central numeral 9 embossed on the base, small letter variant. Lightly tumbled jar with a strong lid.
    Its all about the lids on these jars, in most cases, good strong lids are easily worth more than common jars, especially the lids with writing or designs stamped into the tops. Please see the Condition Description above for additional detail.
