Rare Key Imports D&RGW 2-8-0 Consolidation C-18 #318 plus Extra set of Drivers

Description

D&RGW C-18 #318 became famous as the OURAY branch engine and is now part of the Colorado Railroad Museum collection of narrow gauge equipment. This rarely seen Samhongsa built, Key Imports, D&RGW 2-8-0 Consolidation, Class C-18 #318 includes an extra set of drivers. Imported 1977 and I purchased new from "Scale Rail" model shop in Omaha, NE, 1985. The model has been kept in my collection of brass models, in the original box and packaging. This the first time I have ever had it out of the box since it was purchased.
My family has repeatedly moved since 1987 with my jobs requiring me to travel extensively during the work week. Hence, during the time when I would have loved to build my Colorado narrow gauge empire I was always pressed to attend my children's sports and school activities rather than build that RR empire. Since my retirement in 2011 I have switched to G scale and am playing with my adolescent grand children. Still Colorado narrow gauge.
