    ITEM: SHAWNEE POTTERY VALENCIA CHOP PLATE 13" RED ORANGE SWIRL 1937-1940 HTF
    SIZE: Diameter: 13"
    CONDITION: No chips, cracks, crazing, or repairs. The surface has some light use scratches that I tried to show in pic #5. Shawnee Pottery produced Valencia, to compete with Fiesta in 1937. Production only lasted 2-3 years. Pieces are hard to come by. The plate puts on a lovely display. The Orange color reminds me of the old Fiesta Red that has fiery orange color.
