    Description

    This issue of "The Trapper" magazine is dated January/February/March 1957, it was Volume Volume 4-Number 1.  The magazine is in nice condition, containing 32 pags.  S. Stanley Hawbaker was the publisher of this fine magazine, it was published quarterly from the first quarter of 1954 until the 4th quarter of 1958.  Many collectors are not aware of the fact that there were no issues published the 2nd and 3rd quarter in 1954, the 4th quarter issue is Volume 1-Number 2, that means there were a total of 18 issues published.  Some of the articles in this issue are;  The American Beaver by Leon Pray, A Bad Case of Beaver Fever by William Fenzel, Trapping Big Beaver by Ray Beck, To Hell With Trapping by R. W. Zurga, Our First Big Trapline by Henry Mudlaff and Gary Szymczuk and Fur Market Report by S. Stanley Hawbaker.
