Vintage 1940's Shawnee Pottery Elephant Creamer Pitcher, Made in the USA

Vintage 1940's Shawnee Pottery Elephant Creamer Pitcher. Impressed lightly on the bottom is Patented USA.
This is a cream colored item in very good preowned condition. The portion of the inside of the ears and mouth are painted red, the tusks are painted a light gray and toes and eyes are brown. This creamer measures about 4-5/8" high to the "trunk" spout. It is about 3-1/2" wide and 5-1/4" from spout to handle. It holds about 16 ounces, or 2 cups of fluid.
